Josiah + Ashley | wedding
Josiah and Ashley's love story began at a Halloween party in 2012. These love birds went to high school together and had similar friends, but somehow never crossed paths until that night. Although neither of them really like Halloween, now they feel obligated to celebrate! Their love story continues with the most beautiful September wedding celebration! The entire wedding day from start to finish was filled with love and personal details.♥
I love when brides have a bright and beautiful place to put on their dress and get ready with their bridesmaids. If you're wanting great getting ready photos, think about where you'll be putting on your makeup, dress, shoes, and accessories! If you're wanting your photos to tell a story, those details are just as important as the rest :). Ashley put on her dress and spent time getting ready with her bridesmaids in her mom's gorgeous home. There was plenty of space to move around and her home had big bright windows. Ashley did an amazing job planning details! She had a unique and stunning french lace dress from Grace Loves Lace and she wore her grandmother's veil. The bridesmaids had long, black, complimenting dresses from Urban Outfitters. Each bridesmaid handmade their own flower crown so that they could show off their own personal style...how fun :)

Josiah and Ashley did a first look, which was great because it gave us more time to play around with group and couple photos before the ceremony. We went to the Morton Pumpkin Festival, rode some rides, and even had a funnel cake! Although the day was overcast and drizzling, Josiah and Ashley didn't let it stop them from having fun! They seriously are the best!

Their evening ceremony was at the lower park pavilion in Grandview Drive, lit with beautiful white string lights. Ashley designed the venue and florals were done by Kim Goodwin at Hyvee. Josiah and Ashley shared their own personal vows, and I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye left in the pavilion.

To two of the most fun and relaxed people I've ever worked with... Josiah and Ashley... I wish you all the best in the future! Have a wonderful first Christmas as husband and wife. You guys are the best!
