Matt + Hannah // wedding

Sometimes you get to work with a bride who can't wait to put on farm boots with her wedding gown and hike through some mud...and that is an awesome bride! Working with Matt and Hannah was more like playing in rain puddles with two of your best friends. The farm boots made for the perfect shoes to hike through the rain soaked fields at Wildlife Prairie Park. They also made for some pretty cute pics :). I am so grateful to have been a part of their beautiful wedding! Below are some words from Hannah describing her perfect wedding day with Matt:

"Our wedding day couldn't have been any more perfect. We knew that we wanted our wedding to be casual, comfortable, and fun! Both of us love our families, friends, & the outdoors more than anything.  We are not your "cookie cutter" couple; un-traditional to say the least! We knew for certain we wanted to be married outside, and in my case..barefoot as well as in farm boots :)

I woke up the morning of our wedding to find it pouring rain. I refused to let it get me down and just knew God was going to provide us with the most beautiful of days, regardless. My morning starting by going to get my makeup done with my mom...running through the rain with our umbrellas smiling and laughing no matter what. The flowers, cake, and my bridesmaids all began to arrive to begin getting ready. Our dressing room consisted of jokes, laughter, and some outlandish pre-ceremony dancing (mostly by me)! Our amazing photography arrived soon after to begin the day of photos to capture our precious memories, and boy did she! Our ceremony began at 3pm, surrounded by my family and friends. A very close family friend that has seen me grow up was our minister and I could not imagine a more perfect ceremony! It had stopped raining, but due to the chilly weather we had a backup plan to get married in front of the fireplace at Wildlife Prairie Park and it was beautiful! God changed my life as I said my vows to the most incredible man I will ever know. The look he gave me when he saw me for the first time as I walked down the aisle is one I will never forget. After the ceremony, we hiked through a big open muddy field in my farm boots and had our pictures taken. It was cold out, but made for a good environment to take our pictures. We then returned to the reception hall for an amazing Italian buffet and jazzy cocktail music. After the cake cutting and serving we headed to the dance floor!  I spent the rest of the night on the dance floor with my new husband and all of my closet family and friends!  There were happy and sad tears as a new chapter in my life began, and I wouldn't have had it any other way."
