Danny + Erin | wedding
Okay, where do I even begin with this breathtaking Chicago wedding?!
♥
Danny and Erin are two people who are FUN and in LOVE. They met in Cancun, Mexico in 2007, and it's apparent that they both just 'get' one another. Following them around all day and getting to watch their interactions made me smile. Not only do they just glow when they are around one another, they make others around them light up as well. The bridal party was one of my absolute favorites to work with. They were so funny! From the moment I walked into the hotel room to photograph some getting ready photos, Danny and his friends were joking up a storm with me---that's my type of wedding :)! Erin & her friends were just as fun, sweet, and welcoming. One could ask as a photographer, how can the day get much better?

Well, one of my favorite parts of the day is getting to see the bride put on her dress!!!! I honestly can't wait at every wedding!!! Erin had a BEAUTIFUL wedding gown, Austin, by Watters <--some of my very favorite gowns in the world :)! One could say that this was an added bonus to such a great day. She accented her dress with a veil from David's Bridal, stunning teal heals with some bling (Chelsea Crew), and an array of colorful flowers by Dekalb florist. The teal accents from the shoes, the ties, the bridesmaid's dresses, flowers, etc. made for some fun detail photos. Their rings are from Altobello in Wheaton, Illinois, hair and makeup done by Elle Salon in Elgin, Illinois, and the men's tuxes were Vera Wang slim fit from Men's Wearhouse.

The actual wedding/reception venue, Mora Farm in Waterman, Illinois, is one of the best venues. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff is so kind & the location is THE BEST!!!!! I loved that the ceremony was outside and the decorations were to die for. Scroll down and look through some of the wedding decor and be amazed! It was all DIY!!! I have never seen a mom with as much talent as Erin's mom. Holy smokes that lady has some skill! She did the glitter banners and ALL the decorations (even the light up Erin & Dan sign). The reception was catered by Uncle Bub's, and the rentals were from Tool Time in Dekalb, Illinois. The food was delicious, the cake was beautiful and tasty, and the dj was awesome. All around I'd have to give this wedding a 10/10!

As the sun set, there was a beautiful lightning storm with fields full of lighting bugs. When the storm passed, Danny and Erin did a sparkler exit which was so much fun to photograph. I love when couples think outside the box to get fun and creative photos. Thank you Danny and Erin for letting me be such a special part of your day...I truly feel blessed. You both are amazing and I wish you a lifetime of happiness! Hope you both enjoy your photos :)
