Adam + Summer // wedding
Over the past year, I have been lucky enough to photograph some important moments in the life of Adam and Summer. Awhile back, I photographed Summer with her sweet dog who had been diagnosed with cancer and hadn't much time left to live. Most of you probably remember seeing Adam and Summer's surprise proposal at Ewing Manor in Bloomington, Illinois which was featured in Country Living Magazine, The Knot, How He Asked, and Love Came Down.People everywhere seemed to think their engagement was pretty great :)! Read about it at one of the links above ^!

A few weeks ago I had the honor of being a part of their wedding day. From start to finish, the day was flawless. So much thought and time were put into decisions on scheduling, time for photography/videography, hair, makeup, gown, details, flowers, location, first look, venues, reception, food, music, special dances, etc. Summer is also a talented photographer, and she definitely did a wonderful job making her own perfect, unique, and flawless wedding. Adam and Summer were seriously the perfect bride and groom. They even took time out of their reception to experiment with some silhouette photographs. I seriously could not have asked for a more perfect day -- they rocked my socks off. Below are a few words from Summer about their day together as husband and wife:
♥
"Adam and I truly couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. We had been told time and time again to make sure that you stop at least once on the wedding day and just take everything in--even if only for 10 seconds. We both knew that we wanted to enjoy every bit of our day and not look back wondering where the day went and thinking it was a blur. As we talked the day after the wedding and throughout our honeymoon we kept saying, "We don't feel like we missed out on anything." We took multiple times throughout the day to remind ourselves, this is it. This is OUR wedding day. And we promised that whatever happened we would take it in and roll with it. We enjoyed every stage of getting ready, getting dressed, our first look and pictures, all the way through the ceremony and every event throughout our reception. We both look back on our wedding day and just smile. Everything was flawless, and we couldn't have done it without so many incredible people willing to work hard to make our dreams come true. So thank you to everyone who attended, filmed, photographed, setup, tore down... we can never thank you enough."
